How Kai Fishing Works

• Base rate 0.041 Kai Points / hour. Gear bonuses add KP/hr as shown in Shop.
• Shop buys the next gear piece. Risk Enhance (30 KP · boat 50 KP) or Safe Enhance (100 KP · boat 200 KP) adds a % of that piece's tier bonus (max +10).
• Risk fail downgrades shop gear one tier and resets enhance. Safe fail keeps gear and enhance level —only KP is spent.
• Enhance success rates: 90% → 15% → 10% by target level (+1–10). Bonus scales from +30% to +200% of the gear tier.
• You may fish at only one location at a time. Location cannot be changed while a session is running.
• Catch cadence scales with your rate: 10 minutes at base —down to 1 minute at 20 KP/hr (server-authoritative).
• Auto-fishing runs offline via timestamps, stops at 24 hours, or when the bag is full.
• Harvest fee: 30% of each Harvest goes to the Fisheries Cooperative pool (shown above). You receive the remaining 70%.
• Server hard caps: Soft rewards (fishing net harvest, Kai World, attendance, referrals) share a daily pool of 30,000 KP and a monthly pool of 200,000 KP (Pacific Time). Dining order/reservation points are revenue-backed and uncapped.
• Transfers: Sending KP charges a 10% fee to the cooperative pool. Each account may receive at most 10,000 KP/month via wallet transfers.
• Chair auction: Sealed one-bid auction all month. Every member — including the sitting chair —may place one sealed bid (re-election allowed). Bidding closes 11:59 PM Vegas time on the last day; at 12:00 AM when the month changes (e.g. August bids → September 1), the highest bidder becomes Cooperative Chair for that month and may withdraw the coop pool anytime. Bid KP are burned. Open Coop Auction in the harbor menu to bid.
• Guilds: Create for 100 KP. Members can leave anytime. Daily guild invest (5 KP, once/day, non-refundable) builds crew buffs: every 1,000 KP raises high-grade catch odds; at 10,000 KP max, hidden item rate gains +10%.
• Share your nickname. Friends who enter it as their referral become your fishing followers (+5 KP credit to you).
• Angler Rank boosts unlock at 10 / 30 / 60 / 100 / 200 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 active fishing followers —friends currently in a live fishing session. Referral entry alone does not raise your rank. Elite+ bonuses step up to +5.12 / +12.8 / +25.6 KP/hr.
• Collection covers Kai Sushi nigiri/sashimi plus the full Rolls menu. Pier: Vegetarian, Classic, Premium, Baked, Tempura. Sea-only high tiers: Fried, Everyday Favorites, Pure Rolls.
• Sea fishing requires a boat. Sell catches anytime to reclaim Kai Points (harvest fee still applies).
